Lady Raiders Dominate Lady Panthers, Advance to State Finals

The Lomega Lady Raiders jumped out to an early 11-2 lead and never looked back, cruising to an 80-48 victory over Lookeba-Sickles in the State Semifinals at The Big House today.


All five Lomega starters scored in double figures and the Lady Raiders forced 28 turnovers, dominating both ends of the floor to advance to tomorrow's State Championship game. 


Freshman Darcy Roberts led the way for the Lady Raiders with 19 points. She also had six rebounds and five steals. Sophomore Hensley Eaton went 3 for 4 from three point range, scoring 17. Junior Ady Wilson scored 16, adding 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Freshman Syndi Walker scored 12 points. Junior Emma Duffy had 10 points. Also scoring for the Lady Raiders were freshman Hallie Barton (3), freshman Kali Gardner (2), and sophomore Shelby Russell (1). T


Lady Raiders will play tomorrow at noon at The Big House. They will face the winner between Varnum and LeFlore, who will face off at 6:00 this evening.
